Who will sit on the left side of Jesus?

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

Hi Everybody,

The answer to the question that I’ve asked is this:

God!

Jesus tells those trying him that they are judging him, but that when they are in heaven being judged, he will be sitting on the right hand side of God! (which puts God on his left side.)

The one thing that many of those who follow “new age” miss is this: if we are not in alignment with the rules of the creator, then we are not reaching the best state that we can.

Paul the apostle talks about “seeing in a mirror darkly” but that when he dies, he shall see things more clearly.

That’s because we are not in tune with “God” inside of us, so we don’t see the reflection clearly. But, when we obey the laws that he set up, (which include not hurting others; not indulging in pleasures that were not intended for us, such as extra-marital sex or worse, affairs; using the talents we were given to help ourselves and others, etc.) we can then reach our inner peace.

That doesn’t mean we won’t struggle. Bad things happen to good people. But, when they do, we can better handle them, if we are in tune with these laws.

No, the list is not all inclusive of all the laws. For that, you should study the Bible first, scholars that are not directly involved with the occult, (such as Wallace Wattles, and religious teachers, of whom I’d like to include myself, if I’m not too bold) and then meditate and pray (not in those loud “Oh Lord, we are so thankful that we are in your presence today and that those whom have missed services should be ashamed that they are not here magnifying your name and wallowing in your holiness, while we who are present here obey your words always, because we’ve been blessed to know the truth” type of way) so that you can be in harmony with what God has created for you.

In this day and age, it’s so easy to be torn away from the important things, and not focus on what matters. Instead of Grand Theft Auto IV, spend a little time with Phillipians and learn how to focus on that which is good and right. Instead of worrying about that Plasma Big Screen, focus on the movie that God has unfolded for you in your life.

It’s a whole lot cheaper and lasts a lot longer.

Make it a great day in the Lord!

Brother Paul
